| "Gidget" is a beautiful jet-black two-yr. old filly sired by Macriffik and out of an AQHA/APHA western pleasure point-earning show mare that has produced several outstanding western pleasure show horses herself. This filly was shown at the prestigious Iowa Paint Horse Breeders Futurity in September 2008 and out of 37 head in the Breeders Lungeline Class, she tied for 4th/5th, winning over $1750.00. She has a super jog and lope and carries her head level and has a nice tailset. She is good-minded and willing to learn and would make an excellent western pleasure, trail, showmanship, or horsemanship prospect for someone wanting to do Novice Amateur or Amateur. She will probably mature to around 15.1 or 15.2. She has had 120 days training and is currently winning or placing every time out at the local open shows in walk-trot. His full sister, "Simply Macriffik" was Reserve World Champion BS Halter Mare, PtHA World Show, 2007 and was also Congress Champion Breeding Stock Mare at the 2005 Paint World Show. She also has points in AQHA halter. This colt is every bit as pretty and big as his full siblings and should go on to make a terrific halter horse or with his tractable disposition and willing attitude, would make a great all-around using horse.
